Sergio Petrelli
Born in Naples under the Vesuvio's shade, red tomatoes and neapolitan songs deeply influenced Sergio's brain.
His vision of life developed through his Mediterranean viewfinder since he was sixteen, always keeping an open eye on the world trends and tendencies.
After breathing the air of several Italian cities, he opened his first studio in Rome.
Moved by a strong interest in all the aspects of photography, he decided to spend part of his life in London and Toronto, where specialised in commercial images and mastered innovative techniques like 'light painting' and 'image transfer'.
In 2003 he moved to Geneve, Switzerland, where he lives and works, creating images for international advertising and personal projects.
Member of the Association of Photographers of London, England, he has taught Photography at the Popular University of Rome, along with Multimedia and Introduction to Computer Systems at the International University in Geneva.
His Fine-art cibachromes have been exhibited in Toronto in several art galleries, and his recent Fine-Art images have been exhibited in Geneva.
Sergio also teaches Multimedia at UBIS, University of Business and International Studies, and organizes his own Photography courses.
